Registrations of Visa Upon Arrival

If a foreigner lives in a hotel its administration will make registration for him, but he wants to live at his acquaintances or rent an apartment should apply within 3 working days after arrival to Belarus to Ministry of Internal Affairs.

To register it is needed:

• medical insurance
  
• contract on renting an apartment (for those who rent an apartment),
  
• apartment's owner with the passport,
  
• xerocopy of the passport of a foreign citizen with visa and photo
  
• payment for registration.

On the 1st of January, 2005 the fee was:

• 12000 BLR(around $5,5) - registration fee if you are staying under 9 days.
  
• 24000 BLR(around $11) - registration fee if you are staying over 9 days.
